follow the following steps to configure your data source (ODBC):
(1) from the "Start" button, select "Settings"
(2) Under "Settings", double click on "Control Panel "
(3) Double click on "Administrative Tools"
(4) Double click on "Data Source (ODBC)" to get the following dialog box:

(5) Push the "User DSN" if not selected. If both "MS Access 97 Database" and "MS Access Database" are present as data sources, you are already set. Otherwise push the button "Configure" and a new dialog box (see below" appears:

Add the data source name as indicated on the picture above (spelling and case sensitivity are crucial here) and then push "OK".
